
FRANK SINATRA SCHOOL OF THE ARTS CONCERT CHOIR
The Frank Sinatra School of the Arts Concert Choir is an elite group of singers who recently made their debut at Radio City Music Hall sharing the stage with FSSA founder and world-renowned entertainer, Tony Bennett. Directed by Heidi Best, the FSSA Concert Choir has performed in many venues such as Alice Tully Hall, the 2006 U.S. Open with Diana Ross, Americans for the Arts Celebrates Aretha Franklin, Dave Matthews Band Concert in Central Park, CBS News Morning Show, the Governor’s Arts Awards, the NYC Round Table for the Arts, and the Collegiate Chorale Benefit Concert with Roger Rees. Since September 2001when Frank Sinatra School of the Arts first opened its doors it has offered a rigorous academic curriculum and pre-conservatory studio education in the arts. The idea for the school was first conceived by Tony Bennett to honor his late friend and colleague, Frank Sinatra.
A permanent site for the school is being constructed in Astoria, Queens at the Kaufman Studios complex.
